JONNY FAULL – SAXOPHONE

Jonny is a freelance saxophonist currently based in Leeds and has been building a name for himself as a versatile musician since graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2011 with a BA Honours (Jazz) degree. So far in his musical career he has performed with a variety of touring artists and theatre shows nationally and abroad including Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Sam Bailey (X-factor), Magic of Motown, Rat Pack Vegas Spectacular and of course, most recently, the Chicago Blues Brothers. As a jazz musician, Jonny has performed at numerous festivals and jazz clubs both as a soloist and as a member of bands such as the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra, Ronnie Bottomley Big Band, Doncaster Jazz Orchestra, Al Wood Nonet and Ben Lowman’s Django Project.

Jonny also works regularly with several party bands for functions and events including Groove on Top, Vibetown, Twentysomethings, Funk Soul Family, Frankly Jazz and The Black Sheiks. He occasionally makes solo appearances alongside DJs for club nights and private events across the UK and abroad including a recent appearance alongside UK Garage Duo, Artful Dodger.

On top of this, Jonny teaches saxophone, clarinet and flute in several schools across Yorkshire. He also promotes and manages his own monthly live music night in Leeds called RE:SOUL - ‘The North’s Premier Neo-Soul/Hiphop/Jazz Jam Session’.
